Chelsea only made the addition of Romelu Lukaku and the loan deal for Saul Niguez during the last summer transfer window. After an eight-year absence, the English club welcomes its star back to Stamford Bridge Stadium.
With every clubs in the Premier League reinforcing their team, Chelsea should be ready to add some new faces to theirs as well. Clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and others have made the league competitive through transfers.

Below is a list of three players Chelsea could add to Thomas Tuchel’s team permanently in the next transfer window;

– Mohamed Salah

Following the disagreement between the Egyptian and his club, Chelsea could get their star player, Mohamed Salah back at the club in January. Mohamed Salah left the club in 2016 for AS Roma, and since then he has developed into one of the best players in the world.

According to multiple reports, Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah is demanding a hefty £500,000 per week wage demand to stay at Anfield for the foreseeable future.

Chelsea can use this situation to lure the 29-year-old attacker back to the Stamford Bridge Stadium during the winter transfer window or wait till the summer transfer window.

– Jules Kounde

Jules Kounde is reportedly irritated with Sevilla for turning down a transfer offer from Chelsea during the previous summer transfer window, and he was ignoring calls from the club’s manager, Julen Lopetegui.

With Antonio Rudiger closer to an exit from Chelsea, as he is set to seek another challenge and has not extended his contract with the club yet. Jules Kounde will be a direct replacement for Antonio Rudiger, who is likely to leave Chelsea in the next winter transfer window, according to reports.

– Saul NiguezSaul Niguez has joined Chelsea on a loan basis with an obligation to buy. Chelsea could make his purchase earlier than expected if the Spanish midfielder’s performance impress the coach and the board.

Saul Niguez is a natural central midfielder but he can be adapted to play on the right wing as he has been deployed at the position many times at Atlético de Madrid. Recce James is Chelsea’s only option at right-wing, and with Saul Niguez now at the club, he can provide the squad depth required.
