Liverpool star striker Mohammed Salah who scored a hat trick in Sunday’s encounter between the Ole Solskjaer side has said he think it’s a great win and that his side knew what it takes to win the Premiership League.
“I think it is great to win 5-0 here, we knew before the game it would be tough if we did not play our game,” Salah said
“We know what it takes to win the Premier League, we did it two years ago. A big win here but still only three points,” Salah said “We try to win each game and try to win the title. We need to play to win everything. From our heads from pre-season, we need to win the Premier League and hopefully we go for that. “After half-time we were talking in the dressing room to just keep going and score as many as we could”.
After Manchester United suffered a whopping 5-0 defeat from yesterday rivals side Liverpool the red devils manger has said you can’t give a team like Liverpool such chances and not pay for the consequence.
Manchester United had the play most of the first half struggling to retain the ball as Pogba got a red 60 minute into the game. Speaking to sport correspondence the disappointed manager of the red devils Ole Solskjaer has to agree that his boys are not good enough individually as he said,
“It’s not easy to say something, apart from it’s the darkest day I’ve had leading these players.
“We weren’t good enough individually or as a team. You can’t give a team like Liverpool those chances and unfortunately, we did.
“The whole performance wasn’t good enough, that’s for sure. We have created openings, they have had chances, they have been clinical and we did not take our chances early on. Then the third goal is the one that decided the game.
