ManU 2-4 Leicester: Ole Solskjaer Speaks On Ronaldo’s Performance And Why The Devils Lost

The Foxes Leicester City stunned the red devil Manchester United today as the red devils suffered a 4-2 loss to the Foxes at the king power stadium.

Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford’s goals were not enough to save the Red Devils from an embarrassing defeat away from home.

Ole Solskjaer who spoke after the encounter, reveals why his team lost and spoke also about the poor performance of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: “When you look at the game after the four goals we conceded are all very poor. We didn’t deserve to carry on the [unbeaten away] run The performance was not good enough.

“We got a very good goal with mason and were knocking on the door for another but then some sloppy play and we concede. It was end to end but they created more chances. Two goals from set-pieces is disappointing and then seconds after equalising that should not happen [for Jamie Vardy’s goal]

“I pick the team and Harry [Maguire] has shown no reaction [to his injury]. I hold my hands up if that doesn’t work out and I probably made a couple of bad decisions.

On Cristiano Ronaldo performance: “He is a top player and he scores goals. Today we haven’t created enough for him or the others. He has come in and been very positive.”

On pressure: “Every time you lose, the pressure builds of course, but we are used to living with that pressure. We are Man Utd; set backs have happened before, worse performances, and we’ve got to bounce back on Wednesday. I’m going to do the job as well as I can; I believe in this team.”
